Hello, I'm Steve.

I got my start in advertising 20 years ago when I took a part-time gig in the mailroom of a large agency in Salt Lake City, Utah. What began as a flexible opportunity to help me pay for college turned into a career when I received an offer to transfer out of the mailroom and into the creative department as a Jr. Copywriter. Since then, I’ve created campaigns for brands like Volkswagen, Best Buy, American Express, Activision, Domino’s Pizza, Samsung, KraftHeinz, and a little bit of everything in between. I’ve held positions at EURO RSCG (now HAVAS), Razor Creative, Boede + Partners, Struck, Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Evolution Bureau, and most recently, VaynerMedia as the agency’s first Chief Creative Officer.

I have been included in industry lists including, Forbes’ “30 Most Creative People in Social Media” and XYZ’s “Top 25 Young Creative Professionals.” In addition to being a father of three, I’m an active public speaker, social media practitioner, content maker, woodworker, side hustler, and occasional dreamer of being a rock and roller.
